TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2) as amended by The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991

Kent County Council gives notice that Beechenlea Lane, Swanley is closed to through traffic, on or after 22 May 2017 for up to 5 nights.

The road is closed 5 metres each side of the bridge.

The alternative route is via London Road - High Street - Swanley Lane - Highland Hill.

It is planned the road will be closed between the hours of 21.00pm and 05.30am.

The closure is necessary to enable urgent bridge works to repair loose bricks on the parapet to be carried out by Network Rail Ltd.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site, and is valid for a period of no more than 21 days.

Park Rangers Wanted

Swanley Town Council are recruiting 6 new Park Rangers to provide a range of services throughout the year in Swanley Park and other open spaces owned by the town council.

This is a diverse role with successful applicants carrying out tasks from Litter Picking to Hiring out Boats, from strimming the grass to car park attendant and pool guard.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who enjoy outdoor work and interacting with the public.

For the right people we will be offering a range of nationally recognised training courses, in house training and potential job progression.

Hourly rates are £4.05 - £7.50 (seasonal) depending on age operating between March and September
