All meetings are subject to change so please check individual agendas when they are published.

Swanley Town Council encourages members of the press and public to come to all meetings.

However it should be noted that because of fire regulations the maximum number of people permitted in the Council Chamber (including councillors) is 40.

Also please note if a matter is on the agenda that is considered to be confidential then the press and public will be asked to leave the meeting whilst that matter is under discussion.

At each meeting of the Full Council there is a Public Question Time.

Formal written questions to be asked at meetings of Full Council must be notified to the Chief Executive/Town Clerk by no later than noon on the Thursday prior to the date of the Full Council meeting.

A verbal question maybe asked at the Full Council meeting although may not necessarily require a response by the Council.

A member of the public will be entitled to speak for a maximum of two minutes with the total time for public questions at Full Council normally being limited to 15 minutes

Facilities exist for people requiring wheel chair access. We can also supply meeting papers in larger print.
